What is Leucorrhoea?
Leucorrhea is a white, greenish or a slightly yellow discharge from the vagina. Almost all women experience vaginal discharge, which is white and odourless, and this is a natural function of the body to maintain a healthy vagina and flush out harmful micro-organisms. But if there is any infection, the discharge changes smell, colour and other symptoms are appearing.
Common symptoms of Leucorrhoea:
- Unusual vaginal discharge.
- Pain in the stomach or cramps.
- Itching sensation.
- Pain in the lumbar region and calves.

Mode of action:
Calc phos: Leucorrhœa, like white of egg. If late, blood is dark; sometimes, first bright, then dark, with violent backache.
Kali phos: Menstruation too late or too scanty in pale, irritable, sensitive, lachrymose females.
Kali mur: Menstruation too late or suppressed, checked or too early; excessive discharge; dark-clotted, or tough, black blood, like tar. Leucorrhœa; discharge of milky-white mucus, thick, non-irritating, bland.
Pulsatilla: Suppressed menses from wet feet, nervous debility, or chlorosis. Tardy menses. Too late, scanty, thick, dark, clotted, changeable, intermittent. Leucorrhœa acrid, burning, creamy. Pain in back; tired feeling.
