Infertility is “a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse.”

Infertility is a common problem of about 10% of women aged 15 to 44. Aging decreases a woman’s fertility; after age 35 about 33% of couples have fertility problems; older women’s eggs are reduced in number, – the woman is also more likely to have a miscarriage and other health problems.

Causes of female infertility may include:

Pharmacology

HR 19 contains Agnus castus and Ashoka which reduces prolactin levels, which are elevated during premenstrual syndrome. Vitexin may offer antidepressant benefits, as researchers concluded that vitexin increased levels of brain-activating neurotransmitters and also modulated activity of vitamin D and the neurotransmitters serotonin, adrenaline and dopamine. Castine, is found to reduce the breast cancer chances in females.
