Hirsutism is excessive hair growth in certain areas of the body. It’s a problem that mainly affects women. It’s relatively common, although some women may find it embarrassing or distressing to live with. The excessive hair in hirsutism is usually thick and dark, rather than fine and fair.

Pharmacology:

HR-8 contains Ignatia Amara and Thuja Occ in which active compounds Strychnine and brucine are psychoanaleptic produces arousing effects. Thuja produce anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. HR 8 works by slowing the metabolism of the hair follicle. It does not eliminate the hair but simply slows its growth. By slowing down how quickly it regrows, HR 8 can decrease how often hair needs to be removed and make a woman more confident. The cells surrounding the base of each hair (called the hair follicle) undergo rapid growth and maturation as they transform into hairs. Certain proteins called polyamines are needed for this rapid cell growth and differentiation, and the production of these polyamines depends on the activity of an enzyme, ornithine decarboxylase (ODC). HR 8may block ODC, slowing the growth and differentiation of the cells within the hair follicles.
